License Terms & Usage Policy
Purchasing Mail Archive grants a perpetual, non-transferable license to run the Mail Archive software on hardware you control, covering up to two (2) domains and an unlimited number of devices. The license is issued once per order and is not sold on a subscription basis.
Mail Archive stores your mail as local files on hardware you own or control. Merc Studio does not host, back up, or have access to your archived mail. You are solely responsible for storage capacity, backups, and the security of the device running the archive.
Where remote setup is requested, you grant Merc Studio temporary remote access to the specified device solely to install and configure the software. Access is limited to the session you schedule and is not retained afterward.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis through your account portal. Once a domain has been assigned to the license (see Section 2), the license is considered activated and refund eligibility is assessed accordingly.
Merc Studio may revoke a license in cases of payment dispute, chargeback, or fraudulent use. Revocation disables further license verification; it does not delete mail already archived on your own hardware.
Mail Archive is provided as-is. Merc Studio does not guarantee compatibility with every mail provider or device configuration, and is not liable for data loss arising from hardware failure, misconfiguration, or third-party service changes.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of an issued license after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
