Hosting Agreement

1. Introduction

Merc Studio provides hosting services under specific terms to ensure optimal performance and security.

2. User Responsibilities

• Security Measures: Users must protect their website's data and maintain backups. Merc Studio isn't liable for data loss.
• Content Management: Users are responsible for their website's content, including legality and intellectual property rights.

3. Usage Policies

• Storage and Bandwidth: Limits apply to storage dependent on package. All hosting package has a limit of 250,000 inodes and bandwidth. Exceeding these may result in service suspension.
• Resource Abuse: Prohibited activities include file dumps, image hosting scripts, and anything that degrades server performance.

4. Security

User Obligations: Maintain independent backups and secure your content. Merc Studio’s servers are not an archive.

5. Service Limitations

Third-Party Services: Users must ensure proper licensing for any third-party software installed.

6. Specific Hosting Provisions

• WordPress Hosting: Only one installation per account.
• Dedicated and VPS Hosting: IP addresses must be used within 30 days, or they may be reclaimed.

7. Backup SLA

Backup Policy: Backups may be up to one month old, and restoration can take up to five business days.

8. Modifications and Termination

Service Changes: Plans and features may change. Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
